Current Grade C+ Strengths in your work so far: your development of ideas in your artist references although careful not to become to cliche and stereotypical - you need to constantly reflect back on your idea and how these link Still have not made the necessary improvements listed above - this is a concern at this stage Your experimentation seems short-lived - you need a minimum of 3 more edits for each stage showing you are changing your technique as you go Respond to my comments in text by next lesson please to avoid a stage. Current grade - B Much stronger project developing! Your development into psychosis is crucial as this becomes a more sophisticated project which is causing you to consider the sculptural and physical quality of your prints as opposed to just pure aesthetic merit. Experimentations are well considered and executed. You must now focus on making clear missing links and backing up developments with additional contextual information. See my comments and research in your project for details. Main points to focus on are: redoing ink edits to create black backgrounds completing additional Polke edits using acetate layering, not just Photoshop superimposition backing up final portrait shoot with Daguerrotype and rennaisance research. This is going to be a very strong A contender with these additions implemented and if your final outcome is what we hope for! |

TEACHER FEEDBACK 10/5/16 Strengths: AO3 combined with AO1 I have filled your project with red text - do not be disheartened by this as it is not pointing out flaws, instead it is ensuring the highest outcome. The development and recording skills are clearly your strengths. However, there is a concerning lack of writing and your own reflective comments. Please also add reference to artist Marlo Pascual in relation to spatial awareness. Print images off in the studio and place them cut-up or folded responding to the corners of the room. Think about where you separate and re-join and what impact this has on the subjects. Reshoot strangers in busstops - point of limbo where they wait in one location together however are unresponsive to one another. The pure design of it is quite intimate yet awkward. Your final piece must be finished asap - this week in the studio! need 5 more sewing edits which combine in more avant-garde ways. Photograph different types of placement of your disks and upload as development into final outcome. Current grade - A- |
